India is an extraordinary cacophony of colours, culture, scents, outrageously good food, and superb service in the finest hotels you will find anywhere in the world..

You need to visit this country now, as it too is changing fast as it emerges and struggles to cope with it's role of one of the worlds fastest emerging economies.

It is a country of dramatic contrasts between rich and poor, and intense religious differences.

Nevertheless, still today, once you get out of the cities, you will still find a world largely unchanged for a hundred years. Everything is clean and orderly, the people are proud and friendly, roads are thronged with hay laden buffalo carts, and women laughing in their elegant colourful saris.

The wildlife experiences are very different to Africa, but very rewarding nonetheless.

The best time to visit there is October through to March, and later further South.

It is a vast country, and could take several trips to see it all!
