How do I get started planning my Adventure?
Step 1:
Have a look through our website to see if there are any destinations or particular places which are of interest to you. Take a look at some of our sample itineraries, to get an idea of the flow of the trip. If you have no idea, don't worry, just give us a call!

This is the most important part of the process as we want to learn about your group's dynamics, needs, and desires for the trip. Once we determine this we can offer you our expert advice on what we feel would most meet those needs. After this conversation we will put together a sample itinerary for your consideration, which will give us a good platform from which to proceed.
Step 3:
If you like what we have to offer, we will ask you to print and fill out the Registration
Form and mail it to us with your initiation fee of $250 per person. The fee enables us to start working on your personalized itinerary and means that we have a commitment from you to hold space. Two hundred dollars of the initiation fee will be credited towards your trip when you finalize your travel plans. Since many of the places we recommend are very small and get booked up well in advance, we ask you to let us have up to a years' notice if possible. We can of course do safaris at much shorter notice, depending on availability.
Planning these trips is often very complicated and involves a lot of time, and we will book you with which ever operators best suit your needs. We have NO affiliations which influence our decisions, so together we can tweak and make the changes we need to in order to create the trip of your lifetime!
Step 4:
At completion of planning a 33% deposit will be due to hold the
reservation. At that time the Indemnity Form (see Terms
& Conditions) must be completed, signed, and returned to us, with your travel insurance information.
Thereafter, refunds apply as in paragraph one of the Terms
& Conditions.
Our 21 days were perfect! Every host and every activity exceeded our expectations! The trip combined Tim's knowledge of what we wanted from our visit with what Australia and New Zealand had to offer. Clearly that information was shared with our wonderful hosts, who made each day, each meal, and each excursion one that delighted our minds and our senses. We only regret that Australia and New Zealand are not closer so that we could more often come back to enjoy the company and homes of Malcolm and Marianne Booth, Di and Ian Fargher, the Hannafords (Rachel, her mother, and grandmother). Though we spent much less time with the owners of the Worcester, Westwood Lodge, Minaret Lodge, and Mountvista Boutique Hotel, they, too, went out of their way to make our visit a very special occasion. Our advice to friends is don't waste your time and money with a package tour as it is the people who make both New Zealand and Australia a must visit.
