Why Safari Experts?

Safari Experts L.C. began as African Adventures, L.C. which was incorporated in Utah in 1993. It was created by Kenyan born Tim Lapage, and has since planned safaris for hundreds of people to all parts of Africa.

Over the last four years Tim and The Safari Experts Team have expanded on our successful formula of planning personalized off the beaten track safaris, to include similar places in Australia, South America, and New Zealand.

Our success has come from our uniqueness; we are unlike any other safari company in that we are independent consultants. We work with many different service providers to tailor a safari to meet your needs and provide you with the most exciting and memorable experience of your life.

Our 21 days were perfect! Every host and every activity exceeded our expectations! The trip combined Tim's knowledge of what we wanted from our visit with what Australia and New Zealand had to offer. Clearly that information was shared with our wonderful hosts, who made each day, each meal, and each excursion one that delighted our minds and our senses. We only regret that Australia and New Zealand are not closer so that we could more often come back to enjoy the company and homes of Malcolm and Marianne Booth, Di and Ian Fargher, the Hannafords (Rachel, her mother, and grandmother). Though we spent much less time with the owners of the Worcester, Westwood Lodge, Minaret Lodge, and Mountvista Boutique Hotel, they, too, went out of their way to make our visit a very special occasion. Our advice to friends is don't waste your time and money with a package tour as it is the people who make both New Zealand and Australia a must visit.
